Hello,
Here's who I am & what I do
Hello! I'm a senior communications major at the University of Alabama, originally from Lake Forest, Illinois. Throughout my college journey, I have delved deeply into the fascinating and multifaceted world of communication, focusing on how effective interaction shapes our personal and professional lives.
My academic experiences have been rich and diverse, equipping me with a robust understanding of various communication theories, interpersonal dynamics, and many other communication concepts. I've had the opportunity to engage in projects that explore the nuances of human interaction, the profound impact of media on society, and the importance of clear, effective messaging in various contexts. Through coursework and hands-on projects, I have developed skills in public speaking, media analysis, and conflict resolution, all of which have been crucial in shaping my understanding of communication’s pivotal role in our world.
Beyond my studies, I have a profound passion for aviation. The skies have always called to me, and after graduating, I plan to train as a commercial pilot. This career path allows me to merge my love for communication with the technical and interpersonal skills essential for aviation. I firmly believe that strong communication is key to ensuring safety and cooperation in the skies, and I am excited to bring my unique perspective to this field. The ability to communicate effectively under pressure and to foster teamwork in a high-stakes environment is something I look forward to contributing to in the aviation industry.
In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I am committed to continuous personal growth and learning. I have been actively involved in various extracurricular activities and organizations that have enriched my college experience and allowed me to apply my communication skills in real-world scenarios.
